Day 01 : Airport – Kandy
Arrive at Colombo International Airport, where you will be welcomed by an airport representative and your designated guide from Esna Holidays. After completing the airport formalities, you will be escorted to your air-conditioned vehicle and proceed towards Kandy.
Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage
Located approximately 90 km from Colombo on the way to Kandy, Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage is home to around 100 or more rescued elephant orphans. It is an enjoyable and memorable experience where visitors can observe these magnificent animals in a regulated environment.
The orphanage is open from 8:30 AM to 5:45 PM. Visitors can watch the elephants during their feeding and bathing sessions. Feeding times are at approximately 9:15 AM, 1:15 PM and 5:00 PM, while bathing takes place from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
Spice Garden
Sri Lanka is renowned for its spices and healing herbs. Visit a lush spice and herbal garden featuring Sandalwood, Margosa, Cocoa, Citronella, Almond, Jasmine and Coconut, along with spices such as cloves, pepper, ginger, nutmeg, cinnamon and saffron.

Sri Bhaktha Hanuman Temple & Ramboda Falls
Visit Sri Bhaktha Hanuman Temple, a significant site associated with the Ramayana. According to legend, this is the place where Lord Hanuman searched for Sitadevi in the surrounding jungles.
The temple features a granite statue of Lord Hanuman believed to be over 40 feet tall. The Ramboda area is also traditionally associated with the gathering of Lord Rama’s forces during the battle against Ravana.

Seetha Amman Temple
Visit Seetha Amman Temple, an important site associated with the Ramayana. According to legend, the stream flowing from the hill served the needs of Sitadevi during her stay at Ashok Vatika, and it is believed that she bathed in this stream.
Around a century ago, three idols were discovered in the stream, including one believed to represent Sita. Today, the temple beside the stream is dedicated to Lord Rama, Sitadevi, Lakshmana and Hanuman.
It is also believed that footprints resembling those of Lord Hanuman can be found near the river. The varying sizes of these footprints are traditionally associated with Hanuman’s ability to change his size.
